Events

Zen Thursdays
Come and join us on Thursdays for 7:30pm start. If this is your first experience of Zen practice, please join us on the 1st Thursday of the month @ 6:30pm for our introductory session (Please RSVP).

Zen Introduction
Join us for a 30 minute Zen Introduction starting at 6:30pm on the 1st Thursday of each month. (Next introduction: 1st February 2018). Please RSVP via e-mail to contact @ greenmountainzen.org.nz.

Zen Sunday
Four rounds of zazen, chanting, discussion and potluck lunch. 9am - noon, followed by lunch. Zen Sunday dates will be announced at our weekly Thursday meditation.

Sangha AfterZen
We finish our Thursday sit early to catch up with each other over tea and cookies or head over to Hopgarden for a beverage. (Next AfterZen: 8th February 2018)

Sesshin
Our 4-day silent meditation retreats are held at Riverslea Retreat in the Otaki Gorge. Join us for a deep dive into appreciating your life just as it is. 2018 Dates: 20-24 June; 28 Nov - 2 Dec.
